We are a true believer in the UK property sector, both as a unique opportunity for development and due to its status on the world stage. This confidence has underpinned our involvement with a variety of development sites across the country, with a plethora of other development sites in the pipeline.

 

We are all about relationships consolidated over time. We work closely with world-renowned architects and urban designers who share the company’s ethos and passion for transformative development.

Accreditations

As a company we have successfully managed and completed schemes of varying sizes since our incorporation. Over time we have become a fully accredited Main Contractor. All our Management Procedures are accredited to ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001. This sets out the processes that staff must use from mobilisation through to post completion to ensure consistency of operational control.

We treat our supply chain in exactly the same manner as our direct employees and require them to meet all standards and obligations of our own staff. This includes full integration with our Health and Safety procedures, Quality Management System (QMS), and Environmental standards. This ensures our projects are delivered on time, safely, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Health & Safety

Essex and London Contracts constantly liaises and assists its clients and partners in their efforts to achieve a safer working environment. Our aim is to keep our impeccable record and strive towards a zero incident environment.

 

The company works within an externally audited integrated management system. This allows our dedicated health and safety manager to ensure we maintain the highest possible level of health and safety, from directors through to operatives and across all our sites.

Quality

Essex & London Contracts have a Quality Management System in place which clearly outlines how we operate to deliver the very best Quality. This system ultimately benefits our customers, the projects we undertake and enables us to measure our performance ensuring we are the best we can be.

Programme & Cost

Delivering on time and to budget is of paramount importance. We deliver programme efficiencies to our clients through careful sequencing of trades, close programme monitoring, and mitigation of project risks before they become an issue. We source exclusively from our experienced and trusted suppliers and have dedicated Site Managers and Quantity Surveyors assigned to each project to ensure we achieve our programmes and maintain control of cost.
